Michelle Shires trained and practiced as a Registered Nurse and Midwife from 1982 to 1993 before studying medicine at Sheffield University.
She is a qualified doctor and graduated from Sheffield School of Medicine in 2000 with an MBChB.
She gained the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice in July 2014. This is an accredited Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. Michelle attained a diploma at Yorkshire Hypnotherapy Training. The qualification took 10 months to gain and consisted of 10 modules; each one having to be successfully completed to the required standard.
She was also awarded a Certificate of NLP Skills and a Diploma in Smoking Cessation Therapy (DipSCT) by the college of Integrated Therapies (in association with Yorkshire Hypnotherapy Training).
Michelle is registered with the GHSC accreditation board (General Hypnotherapy Standards Council) which places her on the GHR (General Hypnotherapy Register). Registration no: 6562
